Four People Shot at Howe Park Sacramento — Unlawful Gathering Ends in Shooting





On the evening of Saturday April 18, an unauthorized gathering of multiple hundreds of attendees at Howe Park in the Arden-Arcade section of Sacramento descended into chaos when 20 to 25 gunshots were discharged as law enforcement officers were in the process of clearing the crowd.

A Timeline of Events

Around 6:30 in the evening, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department got reports regarding persons reportedly carrying concealed firearms at Howe Community Park. A second caller advised of a potential physical confrontation and people running from the area.
